This little guy was a perfect, unexpected capture. He landed on the chain that enclosed possibilities of his next morsel, eyeing the closest opportunity, as if getting ready to dive into battle.
Not only did we fight the wind, in keeping our paper trays in place, but also tried to discourage a show of vulnerability.
They showed no fear in having a bite, if you were not prepared. Like a beautiful, metallic missile coming right at you.
Considering the number of these guys, I don’t blame them for getting so daring. It was the risk takers that had a full belly in the end.
I wanted no part in sharing my food. I ate fast and grabbed my camera.
